.Beautiful Eyes.

It has been so long since I have entered a photo contest with I heart faces, but this week I could not resist when I found out the subject was beautiful eyes. My gorgeous Ethiopian son has the most beautiful eyes - they captivated me the first time I laid eyes on him. And knowing the story behind his eyes - my son was blind a year ago, and today he has sight - makes this photo even more breath taking to me.

.I ♥ Faces: Dramatic B&W.

This week at I ♥ Faces, the photo challenge is dramatic black and white. I knew right away the photo I would enter. I captured this shot of my husband at the end of this summer. It immediately became a favorite of mine. I loved the intensity that I had caught in his expression, and his freckles, oh his freckles. I love them.

I heart faces weekly contest is for a photo containing a kiss this time. The photo I chose is not the sharpest or the best composed, but it melts me. I just happened to get this shot on Jim's sister's wedding day. Cadi was one of the flower girls. I love how much she loves her daddy and how much her daddy loves her. Their relationship is truly precious and special.

I heart faces is celebrating their one year birthday this week. The photo challenge is a close-up on a face. The photo had to be recent (taken either in December or January) and had to focus on a face.

I took this photo during a December shoot, and I immediately fell in love with it.

This week's challenge is a little different. I was nervous about this challenge, as it was not really my "thing", but I still wanted to give it a try.
