.My Charmer.

This weekend we finally took Scotty for his first hair cut. He has needed it for awhile. It looked cute, but was out-of-control. His hair stands up, so we push it into a little faux hawk to make it look purposeful. I love it. I think he is the cutest baby boy ever - of course I do! {grin} However, his little faux hawk had grown so much that almost five inches was sticking up off his head! It was a little much. {grin} And with my mother-in-law's threats to cut it, we had to do something. So we took him to a salon. Scotty did great sitting on his daddy's knee. It seems everywhere we go women swoon over him. I think Scotty is letting it go to his head already. You should see the way that he flirts with our female summer staff - raising one eyebrow and everything, oh my! It was no different at the salon. As soon as we walked in, he was literally surrounded by about six or seven women and he poured on the charm. It is so comical to watch. His cut took about ten minutes, and the stylist was so kind. She gave us a little "my first hair cut" certificate signed and with one of Scotty's locks attached. Scotty looks even cuter now, and I didn't think that was possible! I don't know about the other women in his life, but he has surely won my heart - I am smitten.

Scotty likes his new look.

He is a charmer, even with his mouth full of a Cheerio!

Oh, wow, he is SO cute!!! Z is a charmer, too, I think being around everyone at camp helps with that, too. :) I think it helps our little ones learn to be social faster. :)

Thanks 4 the sweet comment! Your blog is cute!!
My oldest son's name is Scotty, too. That's my husband's name so we call him Caden to avoid the confusion of two Scotty's. He is a cutie pie!

Thanks for dropping by earlier. I love meeting new friends.

Your family is beautiful! I am so glad your son sat still for you. My son use to scream whenever he got a haircut. It was horrible! I'm glad he outgrew that stage.

I will be back to visit again...

What a beautiful boy! Having just found your blog, what a beautiful family! I love finding little places on the web that exalt Jesus, and yours does do that.

I am so happy you found the Scottie cake. I hope you will post photos of it when you make it. I would really enjoy seeing it.

My Scottie Baxter, will be four next week and I have been considering making the cake again.
