My little blog was in need of something light and fun, so I decided to join Monica's "Critique This"blog hop! Get out a photo, follow the rules, and join in too! (I am snowed in and have nothing better to do at the moment! {grin})
I would consider myself an intermediate photographer.
This is one of my most favorite ever candid shots!
For your image, I think it is darling - the sweet and innocence of childhood :) There is something that doesn't sit right with me, though, and I am not sure what it is. It may be the lighting in the back left is way too blown out or that the little girls eyes look too dark. I guess I would suggest to use some fill light to capture her face a little better and maybe a tighter crop? Anyway, nice work!
Angel~yes, yes I agree - it is blown out. I think that is why the eyes are so dark, too. ??? I should try a tighter crop. Since it was a quick snapshot, I did a terrible job actually composing it! Kristi ~ she is my sister's daughter!
Too cute! I think this is a great image, especially of children who like to move! Everything looks good to me, I would just like to see the little girls eyes a little more! Great job and those are two adorable kids!
This blog is my story - well God's story - of how He is taking a scared, shy girl on the adventure of a life time. He is writing a story over me that I didn't ask for, but it is more breath taking that I could have imagined. This is where I pen my story - all for God's glory. You are welcome here. The ending of this story will be a surprise for us both.

Tiffany,
I love this...it captures just how sweet Scotty is. Who is the little girl? Hope you're enjoying all the snow!
Thanks for your comment on my post!

I love the pose and composition!
The lighting is a bit off -- it'd be nice to see her eyes.
