Singing and dancing and breathing a prayer
Wild children running with arms flung like wings

Girls in princess dresses and boys with a ball
These are the moments I hope to recall
Stories and make-believe what everyday brings

When the baby cries
When the house is a mess
When I'm not feeling wise
