.If You Give a Mommy a Coffee.

If you give a mommy a coffee,

she's going to ask for a quiet spot and time away with God to go with it.

When you give her quiet time, she will recharge for the day and remember to start laundry.

She'll wash and dry a load or two and throw the clean clothes on the couch.

Then she'll remember she let her daughter go to bed without cleaning her toy room.
She'll peek in the toy room and find a mess.

She'll chide herself for not allowing her daughter to clean it and will clean it herself.

She will walk out of the toy room and then remember to fold the clean clothes.

When she is finished folding the clothes, she will carry them upstairs to their respective rooms.

She'll put the clothes away.

Then she will look at her daughter's unmade bed and decide to change the sheets.

She might get carried away and change the sheets on every bed in the house.

Then she may even end up making all of the beds as well!

When she is done she will probably want to take a nap, but then she will remember the clean laundry from yesterday that still has to be put away.

After putting that away she will remember the homemade bread rising on her stove.
She will check it, and put it in the oven to bake.

She will then walk by her sink and notice the dirty dishes that need to go in the dishwasher.

While filling the dishwasher her mind will wander and she will start thinking about next week.

Thinking of next week reminds her she needs to organize the home school folders.

After organizing the home school folders she will hear the oven timer beep. She will remove the bread and let it cool.

While the bread cools she will love on and play with her children.

While she is playing with her children the phone will ring.

Walking into her kitchen to answer the phone will remind her of the bread cooling on the counter.

She will slice the bread.

Then she will realize it is time for lunch.

After feeding her children lunch, she will lay them down for a nap upstairs.

While upstairs she will use the bathroom and notice the still huge pile of laundry.

She'll realize she is exhausted, so she'll walk back downstairs and chances are if it is afternoon and she is exhausted . . . .

she's going to want another cup of coffee!

"If You Give a Pig a Pancake" was our naptime story today. Giving a Mommy a Coffee sounds like a much better idea! :)
