.Nothing.

I've got nothing.

I was going to write about how busy we are lately. How my role as a pastor's wife is stretching me right now in that we have no down time. However, I didn't want it to come out as grumbling and complaining, and I fear it may be read that way.

I was going to write about how excited I am to start Cadi's kindergarten year with her in just 40 days, and how we organized much of her toy/school room this morning. But I just didn't feel like taking pictures or posting them or organizing a post for that matter.

I was going to write about Scotty's nephrology appointment coming up this Friday, and how I have been praying that this would be the last one. Ever.

Or how my sister's due date is Tuesday, and I absolutely cannot wait to meet my nephew and breathe him in.

I was going to answer that email in a post the one about when will you get back to how your blog used to be and stop writing so much about orphans and adoption. Hmmm.

I was going to copy a cute True and False post idea that I saw earlier today, but I came up blank.

Or about how my parents purchased every single adoption book on our required reading list from AWAA for us, and how I really have to get busy reading those.

Or how we are in the midst of training small group leaders for our church, and tonight is one of our meetings, and I have to figure out how to squeeze 14 people into our home.

I was going to write about how our first home study meeting is next Tuesday, and I am so nervous.

Or how next week is our church's VBS, and I am having a really hard time sending Cadi. It seems like so long to have her away - every morning for five days. I know - just get over it.

I was going to write today.

But all I have is nothing.

Uh-oh, there's a "Required Reading" list? i missed that somehow - can you point me in that direction??

i have a personal blog that i write on, only since we began this process, all i can (and want) to write about is everything and anything related to adoption.

me too- my bog has gone from " oh you are so funny!" to "Oh... are you going to be a downer all the time now?" But I just say, hey its my blog and I can write about what I want to. :)
We just got accepted into AWAA yesterday and we are so excited!

Well, to you I'd say - "But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14)

I'd say you have your priorities just where they need to be! Praise God for you!

To your reader's email, I'd say, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." (Philippians 2:3-4)

Maybe it's time to spread their area of interest..and what better way than furthering His Kingdom?

I'm in a completely different place in my life than you are and have no current plans of adopting, but I love your blog. I love seeing your adoption journey. I appreciate you sharing your struggles: pastor's wife-related, parent-related, and adoption-related.

We're called a body of Christ for a reason. You have a different job than I do in that body, but that is sure not going to stop me from standing behind you and encouraging you along in your work! It's my duty as your sister in Christ to be here, praying for you, and supporting you in the ways that I can. :)

Oh Tiff, I am so sorry that you are feeling so empty and weary and stretched to your limit. You are on my heart constantly and I know that God will give you what you need.

Be encouraged - we all have these times in life and God will give you the strength and joy to get through!

Honestly, my view of pastor's wife is a bit cynical. You see, I grew up in a pastor's family, and I'm headed to be a pastor's wife myself. It's hard work. People are critical of you, you don't see reward from your (or your husband's) efforts, and there are so.many. demands on your time. BUT - if you are doing what God wants you to, it is the most fulfilling position - to be wife and mommy FIRST, pastor's wife second.

So, the criticism of the fact that your blog isn't all about adoption should be taken as a grain of salt. Because you'll be beat up a lot in other ways, but the LORD and your family are totally on your side.... and that's all that matters! :)

(I am too, but I'm a nobody.... ;))

What a blessing that your parents purchased those books! I'll be praying that you get through your reading list.

I understand how you feel - nothing to write but a world of stuff to really write about!

I adore your header!

I was wondering how Scotty was doing on that front. You hadn't written for awhile about that. Will be praying.
As far as 14 people...remember squeezing people in your trailer and then apartment in Tunkhannock?? You can definitely do it! :) I seem to remember you making a mean meatball too. We have had 30 teenager in our townhouse at a time. Everyone just enjoys being together for the food and fellowship. Don't worry! ;)
